The Federal Government has commissioned a Maldon Donbarton Rail Link Feasibility Study. Some 36 submissions were received by 17 December 2010-with more to follow-and may be found at:

Most of these submissions, including from WTC, are supportive of the new railway. WTC also
supports passenger trains on the new line as well as improved passenger train services on the Wollongong - Sydney line.
